Whilst we continue to support the national effort against COVID-19, at Practice Plus Group we have started to resume recruitment for our wider roles in readiness for reinstating elective and diagnostic treatment. We have adapted our application processes in order to speed up recruitment and reduce face to face contact.
Welcome to the Practice Plus Group Hospital, Emersons Green careers page. My name’s Chester Barnes and I’m the Hospital Director.
The primary focus here at our two sites is to empower our teams to deliver the best possible care to patients. This is achieved by standardising our pathways as much as possible, however, we are mindful of the skills and experience our people bring to the work-place and we’re always keen to allow teams to suggest and implement new ways of working which can improve the patient experience.
Benefits of working at Emersons Green include:
• excellent work life balance
• clear career pathways
• excellent training and development
• multi-disciplinary team working
• a strong focus on equality, diversity and inclusion
• emphasis on employee wellbeing
• excellent, modern clinical facilities
• flexible working patterns
• Well-established governance structures and clinical leadership
At Emersons Green we are proud to have achieved a “Good” rating from the CQC across all five domains against which the inspect; although of course we are continually striving to improve further. Over the last six months we’ve been heavily involved in supporting NHS colleagues in Acute Trusts in Bristol and Swindon through the Covid-19 outbreak which has been enormously rewarding. Crucially, the two sites have implemented a Quality Improvement Academy, a mechanism that enables us to harness the ideas of our people to improve patient care. This initiative supports both our commitment to effective engagement with our patients – who are directly involved in elements of the service re-design – but under-pins our commitment to our people, to actively involve them in decisions regarding service re-design.
I’ve been a Hospital Director within the organisation for nearly eight years now, and it provides me with enough autonomy to be able to take the business forward, developing its strengths along the way, but also support, both from a clinical, and a business, perspective to support the delivery of high-quality care to patients, sustainably.
At Practice Plus Group Hospital we take pride in our people and ensure that they have the skills and support to deliver exceptional patient care. A career with us means all of the following and more…
Opportunity: Our impressive range of services is great news for your career, as you can move and progress across our services and specialties.
Flexibility: We also offer a more flexible work/life balance. You can fit work around your family or other lifestyle commitments.
Choice: As a large company we are able to offer an array of education, training and development opportunities, enabling you to achieve your aims, and to expand them even further.
Freedom: You’ll be working in an environment where you’ll be free to do your best work, alongside supportive and like-minded clinicians.
