Biography

Mr Timothy Owen has been a consultant for 23 years and has extensive experience in all aspects of lower limb surgery; including hip and knee surgery. Mr Owen’s specialist field is hip and knee replacement surgery, particularly hip replacement and revision hip replacement surgery. He also has an interest in complex hip joint replacement surgery and has performed resurfacing hip replacement for a number of years.

Mr Owen performs all types of hip replacement according to the patient’s needs including resurfacing replacements, uncemented, cemented and hybrid hip replacements. He is a trained specialist revision hip and knee replacement surgeon and has trained registrars in joint replacement on the All Wales Orthopaedic Training Programme for a number of years.
